Unified School District No. 374`s 2021-2022 enrollment is 387 students in Pre-K - 12. These students are in one high school, one middle school, and one elementary school. All district schools are fully accredited. There are 44 faculty members, supported by a classified staff of 43.
The district is large enough to offer a balanced approach to academics and fine arts, yet small enough to permit a low teacher:student ratio. Our curriculum consists of 65 traditional class offerings, with an additional 70 available through virtual classroom instruction. The district offers a wide range of student activities, including Scholar`s Bowl, football, track, volleyball, basketball, baseball, softball, cross-country, and boys, and girls' golf.
The district participates in the High Plains Educational Cooperative, which serves the special education needs of 17 school districts in Southwest Kansas. USD 374 is a Charter Member of the Southwest Plains Regional Service Center, which serves 29 school districts and two special education cooperatives in the area.
Each classroom has internet access, with 1 to 1 Chromebooks for each class, and each building houses a fully equipped computer lab. Classrooms are also equipped with SmartBoard and LCD projection units.
