Dear Parents and Guardians:
Welcome to the 2023-2024 school year. I am looking forward to another great year full of excitement, learning, and continued growth.
The theme for this year is Plant Kindness, and Everybody Grows Together. As we emphasize the theme, we will continue to provide positive academic experiences for our students as well as foster opportunities for individual success.
I am beginning my 26th year as an educator. Where did the years go? I truly believe my experiences ranging from elementary, middle, and high school levels have helped me see the social, academic, and behavioral transitions from pre-kindergarten to senior year of high school. I will begin my 8th year as the Sublette Elementary Principal and am pleased to be a part of this progressive district.
Continuing from this past school year, we will focus on character education through our CHAMPS behavior model, Zones of Regulation for social and emotional growth, Curriculum Mapping, and College and Career Readiness data to inform instruction. Our staff will strive to provide the best learning environment for your child.
Our outstanding and committed staff works to ensure that learning is fun, relevant, and engaging. An essential component for future success involves the relationships we develop with our parents/guardians and community. We value these partnerships as they are vital to the success of our students. Therefore, please visit the school website and our Sublette Elementary Facebook page, which contains important resources for our families. We continue to update and add information to assist parents and students as we progress throughout the school year. Also, please log into PowerSchool on a computer or by using the mobile app on your Apple/Android phone. PowerSchool provides information such as lunch balance, attendance, and grades.
